Physiotherapist Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust as part of our outpatient rehabilitation service.
The role involves working closely with Occupational Therapists, Consultants, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive assessment and appropriate interventions to aid the management of chronic pain conditions.
The caseload will be variable and patients are treated in both 1:1 and group settings. The role requires effective communication skills in the management of complex situations and close working with members of the Pain Management MDT is pivotal to the role.
Caseloads will be flexible and at times may involve the provision of service to other areas of the Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment and appropriate interventions to aid the management of chronic pain conditions.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Consultants, and Psychologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Manage complex caseloads and prioritize tasks to ensure effective use of time.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pain management strategies and protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in a pain management or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of pain management principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage complex caseloads.
