Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Research and Policy Development to join our Behavioural and Communications Practice at Verian Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic research projects, ensuring high-quality outputs, and contributing to the development of our talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of strategic research projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely completion.
- Contribute to the development of our Behavioural and Communications Practice, including the design and delivery of implementation and process evaluations.
- Lead and support project teams, acting as key contact for clients, facilitating workshops, and maintaining quality in analysis and reporting.
- Participate in new business activities, leading proposals and pitches, developing new client relationships, and planning profile-raising activities.
- Line manage one or more individuals, supporting their work and development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in qualitative research, ideally in the context of behavioural science and including designing and delivering implementation and process evaluations.
- Proven project oversight experience, with strong client handling skills and an ability to lead a research team to deliver excellent work to time and budget.
- Aptitude for innovative project design and the commercial skill to apply this to developing new opportunities for work.
