Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Patent Attorney to join our dynamic Engineering, Materials and Consumer Products Team. As a Trainee Patent Attorney, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications
  • Conduct research and analysis on patent-related matters
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their intellectual property needs
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of patent law and regulations
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
