Patent Attorney Trainee

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our dynamic Engineering, Materials and Consumer Products Team as a trainee UK and European patent attorney. Our team works with a diverse range of clients, from international corporations to start-ups and individual entrepreneurs, providing high-quality services and consistently ranking highly in industry and professional directories.
As a trainee patent attorney, you will work closely with our experienced partners and team members to develop your skills and knowledge in intellectual property law. Our comprehensive training program includes a two-week intensive induction, weekly practical training sessions, and support for professional qualifications. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from drafting and filing patent applications to opposition and enforcement proceedings.

We are looking for problem solvers who are not afraid to dive into new technologies and have a strong attention to detail. A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics is required. We also welcome applications from those completing a doctorate, undertaking postgraduate research, or working in industry.
