Cure Talent is partnering with a specialist agency to find a Design Transfer Lead to spearhead the transition of medical devices from design to manufacturing.
The successful candidate will oversee the transition process, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and MDR standards. They will have a deep understanding of medical device design transfer processes and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design transfer process, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production while meeting regulatory standards.
- Finalize Design History Files (DHF) and develop Device Master Records (DMR) for manufacturing handoff.
- Oversee process validation to ensure consistent high-quality manufacturing output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, QA, and Regulatory Affairs, to align the design transfer process.
- Proven experience in medical device design and manufacturing transfer.
- Leadership in risk management, project management, and design for manufacture (DFM).
Candidates with experience in design transfer, product development, new product introduction, or project management of medical products into manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
