Purpose of Role:
Weir is seeking a highly skilled Transfer Pricing Manager to join our tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and coordinating transfer pricing compliance obligations across all jurisdictions in which Weir operates. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the development of our transfer pricing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Pricing Compliance: Identify and coordinate annual transfer pricing compliance obligations across all jurisdictions in which Weir operates.
- Tax Authority Submissions: Prepare and/or review submissions to tax authorities, working in conjunction with regional tax and finance leadership, as well as external advisors as appropriate.
- Business Partnering: Partner with broader business functions to understand existing and evolving commercial operations, and provide advice on the potential impact on transfer pricing policy and documentation.
- Transfer Pricing Reporting: Provide input on transfer pricing calculations/entries to support the Group's broader corporate income tax, Pillar II, and CbCR reporting.
Requirements:
- A professional tax or accounting qualification.
- Experience in transfer pricing is desirable, either from a specialist transfer pricing role or through the provision of broader international tax advice to complex global businesses.
- Confident in building relationships with cross-functional teams across the business, as well as working with key stakeholders to deliver agreed objectives in a commercial environment.
