As a Customer Support Specialist, your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional customer service while addressing client concerns and inquiries via telephone.

You will also be responsible for managing complex support requests that have been escalated from other support personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries and manage support requests.
• Oversee customer accounts using internal systems and online platforms, troubleshooting issues remotely whenever feasible.
• Provide solutions and product guidance to customers over the phone.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to assist in the specification of lighting products and control systems.
• Work closely with Site Services to efficiently resolve fault reports.
• Liaise with suppliers, end users, electricians, and consultants to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support the Technical Services Team Leader/Manager in daily operations.
• Conduct occasional site visits for rectification or investigation as necessary.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
• Ideally hold an HNC/HND or higher qualification in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering setting with an electrical focus, preferably in the lighting sector.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at using various systems for material management, communication, case handling, and record maintenance.
• Possess a professional telephone demeanor.
• Open to participating in training programs as required for the role.
