Overview

PMR is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead the management of our flexible workspaces. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sites, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Operations:
    • Ensure the effective management and staffing of our sites, maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor and maintain daily pre and post-opening procedures, ensuring seamless site operations.
    • Communicate and reinforce company standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency across all sites.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our front-of-house procedures, processes, and IT systems to ensure optimal member experience.
    • Oversee stock control, ordering, and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective management of inventory.
    • Coordinate the use of services such as housekeeping, florists, laundry, dry cleaning, catering, business support services, maintenance, personal trainers, and massage therapists.
    • Ensure all informational databases are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Finance and Administration:
    • Adhere to budgetary and expenditure constraints, ensuring responsible financial management.
    • Oversee the ordering of goods and services, ensuring alignment with budget control and financial targets.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of site management accounts, attending monthly financial meetings, and accounting for discrepancies.
    • Work towards achieving and maintaining Gross Profit Margin targets.
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Foster a culture of hospitality-focused service, encouraging morale and performance among team members.
    • Delegate effectively to staff, providing opportunities for growth and development, including completing appraisals.
    • Ensure good communication with all staff, holding regular meetings to update on issues, forthcoming events, and news.
    • Ensure staff compliance with all legislation regarding Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and licensing laws.
    • Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to drive business growth.
  • Security, Health & Safety, Maintenance:
    • Ensure all legislative training is completed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and regulations, conducting regular audits and meetings.
  • Members and Culture:
    • Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with colleagues and members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Aid, network, and go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for all members.
    • Conduct viewings with potential members and assist the Sales team with the sales process.
    • Be proactive in developing events programs, working closely with the events team.
    • Lead on culture and partnerships, establishing meaningful connections within the network.
    • Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding process for members.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • 3+ years' experience as a Manager in the hospitality, retail, or coworking industry.
    • Highly skilled verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
