CooperVision is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to support commercial decision making by providing data-driven insights and analysis. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and models, and support the implementation of pricing and channel strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop pricing strategies and models, and provide accurate reporting and insightful analysis.
- Enhance data quality and leverage it for the improvement of pricing reporting, modelling, analytics, and insights to inform pricing and promotions investment decisions.
- Support the Senior Pricing Manager in monitoring the implementation of pricing and channel strategy guidance through ad-hoc reporting and other initiatives.
- Drive simplification, system optimization, and continuous improvement in general on pricing management process and practices.
- Support and collaborate with the Global or EMEA Regional or local market teams on other ad-hoc initiatives as required or assigned.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with COGNOS and Tableau.
- Experience with tools such as R, SAS, SQL, Python, or similar, and with data visualization software desirable.
- Experience in Hyperion, Power BI, or similar analytic tools is preferred.
- English - Fluent.
- Ability to present sophisticated analysis in a clear and concise format.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, pressurized, changing environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of Business Analytics or a related field is required.
- Experience in Pricing or Marketing would be an advantage.
