Marshall Fleet Solutions is a leading provider of transport refrigeration equipment services, seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Mobile Service Technicians.

Job Summary

We are looking for several Service Technicians to work remotely, covering various areas across the UK. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining transport refrigeration equipment, ensuring our customers' units are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining vehicle-powered and diesel engine road transport refrigeration units
  • Calibrating and completing F-Gas certification
  • Optimizing and maintaining engineer van stock to enhance service delivery
  • Ensuring relevant safety checks are carried out on company vans daily
  • Maintaining product and customer requirements knowledge to meet ISO9001 standards
  • Undertaking company training and self-development through the Certi-Tech certification process
  • Liaising with the central coordination team regarding job start and completion times, downtime, and overtime authorization
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and online requirements to maintain a high standard of customer interface
  • Performing other duties and projects that correspond to the general character of the position
  • Ensuring adherence to company procedures in line with company policies, Health & Safety procedures, and ISO9001 standards

Requirements

  • GCSE level or equivalent with at least 3 grade C's or above
  • Able to work on own initiative in a safe and professional manner, maintaining customers' units and company property to the highest standards
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience is preferable
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office), PDA use
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Numerate, literate, methodical, systematic
  • Attention to detail and target-driven
  • Customer Service Skills & Relationship building skills
  • Punctuality and efficiency

Additional Requirements

  • Clean UK driving license
  • Extensive travel required, including overnight stays and working on customer sites
  • Physically fit to perform required tasks
  • Weekend and some alternative shift patterns may be required in line with business demands
