Job Title: Neonatal Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn babies who require specialized medical attention.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care to babies with high dependency and special care needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage clinical emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless care.
  • Support and educate parents, students, and new staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care.
  • Contribute to timely discharge planning for babies on the unit.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in caring for newborn babies.
  • Child Protection awareness and training.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and delegate tasks effectively.
Skills and Qualities:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to educating junior staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High standards of documentation.
  • Negotiation and advocacy skills for children and families.

Salary: £34,521 to £41,956 per annum inclusive of HCAS.
