About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn babies and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess, plan, and implement nursing care for newborn babies and their families in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To evaluate nursing care using the computerised nursing information system and implement appropriate nursing developments in the best interest of the baby and family.
  • To communicate effectively with the principal care coordinator and multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of nursing care are delivered.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records, using appropriate documentation, and ensure their confidentiality and safe keeping.
Requirements
  • Recent experience within the last 6 months of caring for newborn babies.
  • Evidence of Child Protection awareness and training.
  • Ability to negotiate and advocate for children and their families.
  • Awareness of current developments within neonatal nursing.
