Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised support to students on the autism spectrum, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and abilities.
- Promote effective communication skills, using a range of strategies to help students express themselves and engage with their peers.
- Support students in navigating social challenges, building connections, and developing meaningful relationships.
- Assist with transitions, creating a calm and supportive atmosphere to ease anxiety and promote a smooth transition between activities, classrooms, or school years.
- Develop and implement sensory-friendly strategies to create a comfortable and inclusive environment for students with sensory sensitivities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create personalised learning plans, contributing to student success and progress.
Requirements
