About the Role

Lipson Lloyd-Jones is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Disputes and Risk Knowledge Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge strategy for the Disputes and Risk Practice Group.
  • Build and maintain technical excellence within the team, driving best practice and professional support.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory changes, preparing and distributing internal updates and client publications.
  • Organize knowledge sharing, collecting and storing external and internal knowledge.
  • Develop and deliver the Disputes and Risk team's legal training program.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and technically excellent collection of Disputes and Risk precedent documents.
  • Provide expert advice to lawyers across the Disputes and Risk team, the wider firm, and clients on current law and practice.
  • Assist in preparing client seminars and training sessions, and speak at such events.
  • Collaborate with others to support innovation in the delivery of legal services.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer with:

  • Strong theoretical, practical, and up-to-date knowledge of Commercial Disputes law and regulation.
  • Experience as a professional support lawyer in a commercial law firm, or exceptional candidates with no previous professional support experience but a demonstrable interest in knowledge best practice.
  • A client-orientated approach, with a good understanding of using knowledge to develop and support business development activities.
  • Experience managing a small team in a fast-paced and changing professional services environment, although support on team management will be available.
  • A good understanding of how technology can drive productivity gains and cost efficiencies, and the importance of promoting efficient working processes.
