We are seeking an experienced Arts Therapist to join our team at Shooting Star Children's Hospices in West London. As an Arts Therapist, you will work with children and families who have life-limiting conditions, providing high-quality art, drama, or music therapy to address the psychological challenges associated with these conditions.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with parents/carers, providing clinical expertise and suggesting specific approaches/strategies. Your role will involve assessing individual and group therapy programs, providing advice, education, signposting, supervision, and support to staff, families, schools, and other professionals.
About YouWe are looking for a skilled Arts Therapist with significant experience of working with children and young people, including those with disabilities and those experiencing loss and grief, and chronic or acute trauma. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will be required to work in a community-based setting, providing therapy and support to families in West London.
