We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Trade Operations Associate Senior to join our team at Capital Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing the primary functions of Trade Operations, including post-trade processing of fixed income instruments, derivatives, foreign exchange, fail management, and collateral management.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and/or monitor functions necessary to support the investment process by providing operational service to internal and external business partners.
- Directly interact with counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, and external vendors to instruct trade, correct trades, and resolve issues.
- Utilize various internal and external systems, reports, and sources to ensure records are accurate and timely with review and approval of more senior analyst.
- Maintain a high-level of attention to detail and perform self-review of work and peer review of some periodic/production work.
- Identify and assess business risk and determine impacts within the company and to clients.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying and communicating issues to reviewers/managers/others.
- Work seamlessly with sites globally to support 24-5 operational model.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Model skills and technical knowledge and provide support to new associates.
- May act as a resource and provide guidance to newer associates.
- Provide operational and technical guidance on internal controls to other departments.
