Job Opportunity at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Consultant to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our urology department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive adult urological service and developing a specialist interest to complement the existing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide elective services, including outpatient clinics and elective inpatient and day-case operations.
  • Support the hospital's new care pathways and participate in the Consultant of the Week rota, providing care for all urology inpatients and offering telephone advice to the on-call surgical team.
  • Contribute to the delivery of safe inpatient care and support the relevant teaching and training of undergraduate and junior medical staff.
Requirements
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
