Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Neurosurgery department as a Clinical Administration Coordinator. This role involves providing essential administrative support to the medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services. You will work closely with the Band 4 Specialty Coordinator to facilitate efficient communication and organization within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain patient administration systems with precision.
  • Provide secretarial assistance to Consultants and the wider medical team.
  • Handle patient inquiries and assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Organize and coordinate theatre bookings.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage data quality queries.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications

Required

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably within the NHS.
  • A-C in Math and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications.

Desirable

  • Experience in NHS secretarial roles.
