POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Regional Senior Care Coordinator at Barchester Healthcare, you will provide compassionate, respectful, and attentive care across a designated area, ensuring our residents lead fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the quality of care provided during your shifts, participating in personalized care planning for each resident, and documenting vital health indicators such as temperature and blood pressure among other essential duties. This role is diverse and also encompasses offering companionship and support, as we believe in the importance of meaningful interactions between our residents and caregivers during every shift.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
A solid background in caregiving is crucial for the position of Regional Senior Care Coordinator, along with a thorough understanding of elderly care practices. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is required, with the expectation to pursue an NVQ 3. A comprehensive understanding of the broader healthcare landscape is also necessary. Ideally, candidates should possess a C grade or higher in GCSE English and Maths. Your dedication and empathy will drive you to enhance the wellbeing of our residents. As this role involves travel within the region, having access to a vehicle is essential. We offer mileage reimbursement for travel exceeding five miles from your primary residence, and should you be on duty during an inspection that results in a 'Good' rating, you will be eligible for a bonus.
