Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Visiting Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As a Visiting Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our Art & Design examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct moderation of student work to ensure it meets our assessment criteria and procedures.
  • Review centre assessment of candidates' work and provide feedback to centres.
  • Undertake direct assessment of school-based components in the subject where centres opt not to make initial assessments.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant subject and level.
  • Be a qualified teacher with a high level of subject knowledge.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
