About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our public health team, you will be responsible for leading key public health programmes, providing public health expertise and leadership for improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead key public health programmes to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities
  • Provide public health expertise and leadership to the Council, NHS and other partners
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver action, influence and advice to improve health outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes
  • Lead and manage a team of public health professionals to achieve the best outcomes for residents
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced public health professional with a strong track record of leading public health programmes and improving health outcomes. You will have a deep understanding of evidence-based public health practice, relevant statutory requirements and a proven commitment to addressing health inequalities.

You will be a strong leader with the ability to inspire, engage and motivate colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for residents. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver action, influence and advice.
