Fleet & Workshop Manager Job Description

As a key member of the FedEx Group team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet and workshop facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to meet the highest standards of road-worthiness, in accordance with our company's preventative maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Diagnose and repair vehicles to meet minimum DOT standards, adhering to our company's preventative maintenance and service schedules.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the safe use of tools, plant, and ancillary equipment, and adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Staff Development: Develop staff for succession through coaching, delegation, and feedback, and promote a professional image of the company at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for continuous improvement through ongoing quality initiatives, and maintain and comply with company health and safety standards.
