Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Recreation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our daily activity programs and providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to customers of all ages and abilities
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the Recreation Assistant team to deliver a safe and enjoyable environment for customers
    • Support the Duty Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of the daily activity program
  • Facilities Management
    • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, including equipment set-ups and de-rigs
    • Ensure the effective delivery of the daily activity program, including supervising and working alongside the Recreation Assistant team
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, colleagues, and hirers to provide a first-class experience
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • NPLQ qualification or equivalent (training can be provided for suitable candidates)
  • Skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
    • Passion and energy for the leisure industry
    • Flexible and adaptable
