As a Public Relations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role within the Homebase family, collaborating closely with internal departments and external agency partners to craft innovative campaigns and foster ongoing dialogues with media and our community.
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience) plus potential for bonuses.
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Location: Hybrid working model - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily consumer public relations activities, promoting Homebase as the go-to authority in home and garden.
- Manage the press office, handling media inquiries, product loans, and maintaining journalist relationships.
- Design and implement seasonal campaigns, including product launches that capture attention.
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a passionate individual who is enthusiastic about retail and eager to achieve outstanding press coverage while engaging our customers and team. While extensive experience in public relations is not mandatory, we value creativity, strong writing abilities, and a willingness to actively contribute to our initiatives.
