Legal Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Advisor to join our team at BioTalent. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our contract and temporary workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consultants in placing contractors internationally, advising on engagement models and mitigating risk.
  • Review and amend client terms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the legal and compliance manager to resolve disputes between clients and candidates.
  • Manage contractor onboarding, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Advise on IR35 determinations and provide guidance to contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Chase missing compliance information from contractors and provide first-line support.
  • Liaise with the payments and finance team to ensure seamless contractor and client queries.
  • Assist with client onboarding, including vendor and supplier forms.
  • Produce contracts for clients and contractors, including issuing, re-issuing, and renewing contracts.
  • Manage e-signature processes and filing of contracts.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven experience in recruitment compliance, preferably in the UK/EU.
  • Prior knowledge of T&Cs review and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience in internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of industry legal rules and guidelines.
  • Professional German language proficiency preferred but not essential.
  • Employment law or legal background preferred.
