About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance Department at the Birchwood Group Ltd. in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts, reviewing financial reports, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Dealership management team to review financial reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Submit monthly composite data to the manufacturer and ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheets.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support business needs.

About You:

  • You are an experienced Management Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
  • You possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You have a methodical approach to work, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
