About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Land Manager to join our team at TDM Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring land for development in the south east region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Acquisition: Identify and secure off-market land opportunities in key areas, including Kent, Surrey, and South London.
  • Land Management: Manage and update the letter-writing process, conduct manual searches on prop-tech systems, and effectively target areas for land acquisition.
  • Negotiation and Liaison: Liaise and negotiate with landowners and agents to secure land purchases.
  • Project Management: Oversee legal, planning, and design consultants pre- and post-acquisition.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with town planning policy and key areas targeted for letter writing.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree qualified, preferably in a property-related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record of sourcing and acquiring land in Kent, Surrey, and South London.
  • Deal-Making: Natural-born deal maker with a consistent record of completing 3-4 land deals per year.
  • Industry Knowledge: Detailed understanding of the planning application and appeals process.
  • Network: Strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
  • Personal Qualities: Determined, hungry, and ambitious, with the ability to work autonomously and independently.
