Job Summary:
Chameleon IT Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team as a Contract 2nd Line Desktop and End User Support Engineer. This role will involve providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring that their IT needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a 1st/2nd line support engineer within a global enterprise support team, using JIRA helpdesk to manage requests and incident tickets.
- Provision and support IT-related equipment, including desktop hardware and software.
- Support on-site activities, including IT deskside support, IT hardware maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring that their IT needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Technical Requirements:
- Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows 10/11) - working knowledge of build, configuration, and registry settings.
- Desktop hardware architecture.
- Application deployment via Endpoint Central/Intune.
- Microsoft Office suite - configuration, templates, macros, add-ins, advanced features, and user preference configuration.
Additional Requirements:
- Office 365, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Active Directory - basic user administration, both on-premise and cloud-based.
- Working knowledge of Intune.
- MFA - Okta user administration/Microsoft Authenticator.
Nice to Have:
- Some knowledge/experience with servers and networking equipment.
