Waste Management Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mechanical Treatment Plant at Allerton Waste Recovery Park in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure smooth and efficient functionality of the Mechanical Treatment Plant.
- Supervise and lead a team of Mechanical Treatment Day Operators, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with Thalia's Health & Safety and Environmental Policies at all times.
- Manage risk assessments and ensure procedures align with British Standards Institute (BSI) regulations.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Experience working in the waste industry or experience working with mobile plant operators.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and make decisions within defined limits of authority.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends.
- Entry into Company bonus scheme - up to 5% of annual salary.
- Thalia's pension contribution is 3% and your contribution is 5%.
- 24 days annual leave.
