Job Title: Household Waste Recycling Centre Supervisor

Thalia Waste Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) and Waste Transfer Station (WTS) Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role supports our HWRC Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of our HWRC and WTS, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain all loading/unloading plant and machinery as required.
  • Supervise the loading/unloading of materials and drive on-site vehicles as required.
  • Use performance review systems to set annual objectives for direct reports and review progress periodically.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of adapting to various computer-based systems.
  • Experience in the waste industry, particularly in operating mobile and Mechanical Treatment Plants, is highly desirable.
  • Essential experience in people management or supervision, demonstrating strong leadership and team-building abilities.
