Key Responsibilities

As a Governance and Compliance Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in a large, complex organisation.

You will lead a business-critical programme and work closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in line with governance and reporting requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in governance and compliance roles in the insurance industry.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience in managing teams in the governance, risk, and compliance space.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in governance and reporting software tools.

Nice to Have

A bachelor's degree or professional certifications (i.e. CISA, CISM, CGEIT) would be beneficial for this role.

Previous experience in the insurance industry would be an advantage.

About the Role

This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment (2 days a week onsite in London).

The salary for this role is up to £800 per day (Inside IR35).
