Join Our Team as a Mechanical Systems Technician

Location: Stratford, London Salary: £42,000 annually Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a committed and proficient Level 3 Mechanical Systems Technician to become part of our team, bringing prior experience in plumbing. This full-time position offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the high technical standards expected by our clients. You will provide on-site guidance and deliver expert knowledge in mechanical systems and building fabric components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Operation: Oversee the maintenance, installation, and operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with operational needs.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Exhibit a thorough understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring safe equipment usage.
  • Technical Communication: Accurately measure, interpret plans, read technical diagrams, and effectively convey technical information.
  • System Repair and Installation: Execute repairs on systems, plants, or equipment to meet required standards, and handle the installation, commissioning, and servicing of plant equipment.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify, troubleshoot, and commission systems utilizing your technical skills and system knowledge.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the ongoing performance of machinery and facilities, implementing operational procedures and addressing any malfunctions.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in plumbing or mechanical engineering
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the maintenance sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must possess a valid UK passport or indefinite leave to remain
