Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering. This role involves working within a commercial environment, ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of various mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems within commercial properties.
- Perform both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with a dedicated maintenance team to ensure optimal performance of all mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Familiarity with L8 Water treatment, Pumps, and Air Handling Units.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Mechanical Duties Include:
  • Testing of fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
  • Maintenance of Heating Interface Units (HIUs) and underfloor heating systems.
  • Servicing Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
  • Performing routine checks and repairs on pumps and motors.
  • Conducting water treatment processes, including pH testing and chemical dosing.
  • Maintaining cooling towers and steam plants.
