The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome, and providing seamless support throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience
- Provide a warm and efficient welcome to all guests, ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Deal efficiently with guest enquiries, both in person and over the phone.
- Revenue Growth
- Maximize revenue by cross-selling our food and beverage offerings, as well as our spa services.
- Operational Excellence
- Process all financial transactions accurately and securely.
- Adhere to all department standards of performance.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate with:
- Previous hotel reception experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
- Accurate typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of reservations systems software (preferably Opera) is an advantage.
