Role Responsibilities
As an **Assistant Audit Manager** in our **Not for Profit Audit** service line, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including charities and educational institutions
- Addressing technical challenges and overseeing client projects
- Providing mentorship and guidance to team members to uphold high standards
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Exploring opportunities for expanded departmental responsibilities through training and projects
- Continuously pushing for improvement within the organization while receiving support along the way
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as an **Assistant Audit Manager**, you should possess a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) and the confidence to navigate a variety of audit clients. While the following skills are advantageous, we are committed to supporting your growth:
- Experience in leading audits and addressing technical issues
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP/FRS102
- Project management skills
- Familiarity with audit software and Microsoft tools
- Experience with Charity and HE SORP, as well as auditing Not for Profit entities, is a plus
