Position Summary

As a key member of the strategy and scheme design team within the Business Standards department, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and standards of businesses operating in the private security sector.

Our recent strategic review has led us to reassess our business approval processes, focusing on the imperative of public safety. The evolving landscape of private security necessitates a robust framework that emphasizes public protection.

We are initiating a comprehensive program aimed at executing this strategy, which includes augmenting our technical resources to support the development of a new business approval framework. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding our strategic initiatives and shaping the design and implementation of this framework.

This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of transformation within the private security industry. You will oversee specialized workstreams and work collaboratively with our project teams to establish standards that enhance public safety and instill confidence in private security services.

You will report directly to the senior manager of strategy and scheme design, who leads the subject matter expertise for all business approval scheme products and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of business standards, standardization products, and management systems.
  • Experience in a technical management role or equivalent.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Aptitude for conveying complex information to varied audiences.
