Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contracts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for commercial and contract management of a portion of the 'Genco-541' responsible designer contract, in place between Edvance and NNB. The role will provide commercial expertise and support to our UK Engineering teams, including interfacing closely with our Paris-based HPC contract management team on the entire scope of the project.

The Commercial and Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing, coordinating, negotiating a portfolio of varied and complex contractual events from inception to implementation.
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies to respond to emergent contractual topics and issues.
  • Providing commercial and contractual subject matter expertise to our Engineering teams, both in the UK and in France.
  • Producing, analyzing and presenting financial, contractual, and commercial data to internal project teams as well as the client.
  • Coordinating with Change, Cost, Risk and Schedule teams to ensure coherent and consistent project progress.
  • Planning, preparing, and negotiating of offers as part of an offer team.
  • Implementing all commercial and financial governance requirements.
  • At all times operating in accordance with the EPR-E Information Management System (IMS), rules and procedures to ensure that all contracts are administered within delegation of authority and the overall EPR-E governance/assurance regime.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Contract Management on complex and multicultural industrial and infrastructure projects (energy, construction, transportation or defence industry), with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  • Knowledge of risk and claims management.
  • Specific knowledge of UK law and its impact upon the contractual and commercial functions.
