Lift Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lift Installation Specialist to join our team at Schindler Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and setting out lift and escalator installations in accordance with approved procedures. They will also ensure compliance with statutory regulations and organisational safety. The role involves preparing work areas for installation activities, handing over and confirming completion of installation activities. Key responsibilities include installing lift and escalator well and ancillary equipment, installing traction equipment, installing lift ropes and adjusting them in accordance with approved procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Lift/Escalator Installation or equivalent, a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card, and advanced product and installation knowledge. They will also possess proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, and good communication skills at different levels. A full UK driving license is also required.
