As a Service Technician at Survitec, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our tooling equipment. Your expertise will be essential in servicing, testing, and inspecting equipment to meet the highest standards.

Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Glasgow. If you have experience in air, electric, or pneumatic tooling servicing, or a passion for repairs, we want to hear from you. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality servicing, installation, maintenance, and repair activities to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to drive continuous improvement and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Assisting specialists with setting up and testing new products or processes.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and diagnosing equipment and system requirements.
  • Developing knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures.
  • Working with the Service Operations Manager to devise a monthly schedule and ensure operational manpower.
  • Leading by example in creating and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

The Experience, Qualifications, and Skills You Will Have

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Job-related experience.
  • High School education with 4 GCSEs or equivalent.
  • HNC in electrical/electronics (advantageous).
  • Competence in servicing and repairing electrical and pneumatic handheld power tooling.
  • Ability to work autonomously and safely on site.
  • Flexibility to work throughout all areas and locations of the business.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
