Job Title: Support Service Technician

Job Summary:

Glasgow Guarantee Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Support Service Technician to join our team. As a Support Service Technician, you will provide technical support for teaching and learning, particularly in digital technology and related devices in use within schools. You will also be responsible for the safe storage and servicing of general school equipment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for teaching and learning, including digital technology and related devices.
  • Ensure the safe storage and servicing of general school equipment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
  • Work as part of a specialist team of school-based technicians.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in digital technology, electronics, or computing/software applications.
  • Proactive and problem-solving skills, with a practical attitude towards work.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Apprenticeship Details:

This is a 4-year apprenticeship as a Support Service Technician (Digital Technology), studying towards an HNC in Electronic Engineering at Glasgow Clyde College, Cardonald Campus. You will also complete SVQ level 2 and SVQ level 3 within the workplace.
