**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-end luxury residential development in Brighton.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Maintain communal areas, including cleaning and tidying
* Perform painting and decorating tasks
* Remove rubbish and provide general maintenance support
* Report defects and incidents, and take corrective action
* Conduct regular checks on emergency lighting and fire alarms
* Undertake routine repairs and refit door locks
* Ensure tools are maintained and kept securely
* Pressure wash and clean bin stores, and keep footpaths and communal areas clean
* Carry out touch-up paint work in communal areas
* Check and maintain terrace areas, including watering plants
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Physical ability to lift and move equipment
