The ideal candidate will be self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to maintain composure in high-pressure environments. Strong communication and observational skills are essential, along with a passion for teamwork.

While prior experience in an NHS clinical laboratory or familiarity with analytical methods is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite as comprehensive training will be provided. A solid educational background, including GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science, or equivalent qualifications, is required.

Application Requirements

Applicants must clearly state their GCSE grades on their application form and meet the person specification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the maintenance and decontamination of complex laboratory equipment.

This role is essential in supporting our diagnostic services.

Work Schedule

Flexibility to support a 7-day working rota, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, is necessary based on service requirements.

About Our Organization

Our mission is to prioritize patient care in all our endeavors.

Within the Blood Sciences department, you will collaborate with a friendly and skilled team comprising Consultants, Clinical Scientists, Biomedical Scientists, and Associate Practitioners.

Additional Opportunities

We also encourage applications from individuals interested in joining our team on a Bank basis. Please indicate your interest on your application form.
