About the Role

Service Care Solutions - Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Prison Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Prison Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of 40-60 service users, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Support service users from the point of entry into custody, ensuring a smooth transition and effective care planning.
  • Deliver one-to-one interventions, including screening, assessment, and recovery planning.
Requirements
  • Experience working within the substance misuse field, with a strong understanding of health issues related to addiction.
  • Proven ability to key work and develop care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Current prison clearance is desirable but not essential.
