Job Title: Sonographer Support Specialist at Healthshare Group

We are seeking a dedicated Sonographer Support Specialist to become part of our Prisons Service team, with shifts available on Mondays and Wednesdays. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional diagnostic services and patient support. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sonographers and Radiologists to assist patients throughout their appointments. Opportunities for training and professional growth are available within our organization, although visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient clinic operations
  • Provide assistance in patient care and comfort
  • Support Sonographers and Radiologists during examinations
  • Prepare clinical rooms prior to sessions
  • Utilize patient information management systems
  • Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies
  • Adhere to professional standards and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Offer chaperone services for patients as needed

  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

Experience:

  • Practical skills application experience

  • Awareness of workplace Health and Safety
  • Proficiency in keyboard skills
