Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Healthshare Group, a leading provider of musculoskeletal health and diagnostics services. The ideal candidate will have experience in Musculoskeletal and General Ultrasound, working with modern equipment and a supportive team of professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards in Ultrasound imaging and diagnostics
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining clinical standards and quality assurance

Job Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality MSK and General Ultrasound services to patients
- Evaluate and prioritize Ultrasound referrals in a timely manner
- Perform Ultrasound scanning according to established guidelines and protocols
- Maintain accuracy and precision in examinations
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure effective communication and care
- Report findings and advise on referrals
- Act as a mentor and trainer for junior Sonographers
Operating Responsibilities
- Ensure quality service delivery to patients and healthcare professionals
- Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals
- Monitor and maintain quality standards and targets
- Be responsive to changes in service delivery and adapt to new requirements
Managerial Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining clinical standards and quality assurance
- Contribute to marketing and quality of services initiatives
- Liaise with stakeholders and external partners
- Develop relationships within and outside the organization
Training, Research & Development
- Participate in training and mentoring staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Share expertise and provide training to colleagues
- Evaluate new technologies and equipment
- Attend meetings and contribute to clinical governance

- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

- Recognized Thyroid ultrasound training
