Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team to support pupils with autism and special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting pupils with complex needs and a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with autism and special educational needs in a primary school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation to ensure pupils with SEND are fully included
