About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Developer to lead our knitwear department and play a key role in managing complex processes without compromising on product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers to ensure they adhere to European and global requirements for product development and quality.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, mills, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop the collection from initial concept to completion.
- Create and distribute technical packs for garment construction.
- Assess and approve test reports.
- Maintain the critical path.
Requirements
- Recent experience as a Senior Garment Technologist or Senior Product Developer from a fashion knitwear background.
- In-depth knowledge of construction and the product development process within knitwear.
- Ability to work in partnership with design teams, understanding and interpreting their product vision.
- People management experience, providing direction and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, delivering clear briefs, and negotiating costs.
