The role of Senior SharePoint Developer at Breedon Group plc involves working in conjunction with our multi-disciplined operational team to develop, implement, and maintain an integrated management system (IMS) for storage and control of all relevant documentation and information as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a range of suitable SharePoint sites to support the company's operations.
  • Champion document management processes and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Set up automated processes to manage document control, Permit to Work, Management of Change, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment, Standards and Procedures, and site inspection platform.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to migrate new and existing documents to the IMS.
  • Assist in the production and supply of electronic and hard copy documents, promoting training to the operational team on IMS (SharePoint) and related IT systems.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit schedules and administer associated actions.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with expectations and are available for Internal and external Audits in a timely manner.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement and share best practices.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of training for the Cement GB team on SharePoint and associated systems.
Requirements
  • Management System qualifications desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of electronic document management systems and associated processes.
  • Experience in working in regulated sectors where quality and accuracy of documentation is paramount to Health and Safety compliance and day-to-day production.
  • Technical knowledge of modern web-based technologies.
  • Experience with management systems.
  • Microsoft Office expertise including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
  • Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • A high level of self-motivation and organisational ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
