Job Summary:

The Network Restoration Specialist will play a crucial role in the safe restoration of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) supplies within the UK Power Networks area. This position requires a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locate and identify faults on the Distribution network

  • Restore HV & LV supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

  • Test and switch on the HV & LV network, interpreting test results

  • Perform jointing duties, including LV and HV jointing

  • Supervise excavating teams and working parties

  • Understand operational and 1:500 diagrams

  • Operate IT equipment, including TDR, LV Faults sniffer, and FFE equipment

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds 2339 qualification or willingness to undertake a course of study

  • IOSH Managing Safety certification or willingness to undertake a course of study

  • Streetworks qualification Units 1, 2, 3, and supervisor

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Clean driving license

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong safety focus and customer-centric approach

  • Willingness to undertake standby duties
