Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our team at our Nursing Home in Maghull. As an RGN, you will be responsible for the welfare of up to 36 service users with varying levels of support, ensuring their care, health, and social needs are met with dignity.

You will ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including the security of the home and maintaining a high standard of physical environment. In the absence of the Registered Manager, you will be the responsible person for the service at night.

Day-to-day, you will carry out nursing procedures as necessary based on individual care plans, manage medication, provide personal care, and support service users with their well-being, general health, and mobility.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered General Nurse PIN
  • Prior experience in adult social care or knowledge of the regulatory framework
  • Experience in leading a team of carers in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of supporting older people and those with dementia
  • Effective people management and leadership skills
  • Ability to deliver high standards of quality care in a nursing care setting

Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, including nights, with a rota basis that includes some weekends. Full-time (36 hours/3 shifts) available.
